2008 Race Information

Hudson Mills Metropark
8801 North Territorial Road, Dexter, MI.
The park is 7.5 miles west of US-23, Exit 49 on North Territorial Road. Events will be centered at the Activity Shelter, near the Park Office Activity Center.
Events:
10:00am: Kids' Events
100 meter Kids' Dash (ages 6 and under)
750 meter Kids' Run (ages 7 to 10)
10:30 am: 5k Run & Walk (All Ages)
5k Run (timed)
5k Fun Run/Walk (not timed)
Post Race: Awards Ceremony and picnic featuring free food and entertainment, including a Bounce House (courtesy of
Jump City)
for kids. The picnic shelter is also near an excellent playground for kids, a basketball court, tennis courts and soccer fields for unlimited outdoor enjoyment.
In-Race Entertainment:
Performing along the course will be surprise musical guests.
Awards
• Medals for top 3 male and female 5k Run finishers in each age group (10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and up).
• Plaque for top overall male and female finishers

• 5k Fun Run/Walk and Kids’ races will not be timed, participants will receive a race t-shirt. All Kids’ race participants will receive a ribbon.
Registration and Entry Fees:
• All participants registering before race day will receive a race packet and t-shirt.
• Participants registering on the same day as the race will receive a bib number, but are not guaranteed a packet, or a t-shirt in their size.
• Family Registration Option: For those registering as a family, we are offering a reduced rate for registration, $5 off per person if 3 or more family members register together (Example: one adult and two children, two adults and one child, three adults). In the registration category selection screen on the online registration page, be sure to choose the options prefaced by "Family:" to be priced accordingly.
